Here are some common questions about our weight loss services and solutions.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment through our website after logging in. All sessions are conducted via Coviu, a secure telehealth platform.

Do I need to download anything for my telehealth appointment?

Our appointments are conducted through Coviu, which works directly in your web browser.

What can I expect from the weight loss coaching program?

Our coaching program includes a series of telehealth appointments with a dietitian. You’ll start with an initial consultation, followed by ongoing support through follow-ups and food diary reviews.

What happens during my first appointment?

Your first session will be a comprehensive nutrition assessment where we discuss your goals, dietary habits, medical history, and create a personalised plan to help you reach your goals.

What can I expect vs other weight loss programs?

Unlike generic diet plans, our approach is personalised, evidence-based, and led by registered dietitians to ensure you get safe and sustainable results.

Will I get a meal plan?

We provide personalised meal guidance, recipe suggestions, and recommendations, but not rigid meal plans. Our goal is to help you build lifelong healthy habits.

How long are the sessions? How much time should I allow?

Initial consultation: 60 minutes
Follow-up consultation: 30 minutes

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

We understand that schedules can change. As per our cancellation policy, if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment please do so no later than 24hrs before your scheduled time. You can easily do so by emailing us at clinic@fatsecret.com.

Can I claim through my private health insurance?

Check your private health insurance to see if a consultation with a dietitian is covered by your provider. We can provide you with a relevant invoice to lodge a claim.

Can I claim my appointment through Medicare for a Chronic Disease Management Plan?

Our services are privately billed, and we do not process Medicare rebates. If you have private health insurance, you may wish to check with your provider to see if any rebates are available.
